A 21st Century Community Learning Center (21stCCLC) Bidders Conference will be held on Tuesday, August 29th from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at CREC Central Office (111 Charter Oak Avenue, Hartford).
The 21stCCLC Request for Proposals is expected to be posted to the CT State Department of Education website on August 21st. Proposals must be submitted by September 22nd.
Eligible applicants must serve schools where at least 40 percent of students are eligible to receive free or reduced price meals.
The following entities are eligible applicants:
- all local educational agencies (LEAs), endowed academies, charter and magnet schools;
- Regional Educational Service Centers (RESCs) applying on behalf of LEAs or magnet schools;
- Community-based organizations (CBOs), including faith-based organizations (FBOs) and other public or private organizations in partnership with a local school or school district; and
- a consortium of two or more of the above-mentioned agencies, organizations or entities.
