Connecticut Family Development Credential Train the Trainers Training

This Train the Trainer (TOT) training is part of the Family Development Credential & Training Program (FDC) offered by the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood.

This five day training institute is based on the successful program and curriculum developed at Cornell University in New York; Empowerment Skills for Family Workers. FDC is a professional development model used in 18 states nationally.

Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Location: 250 Constitution Plaza, Hartford, CT. (Plaza Level Conference Room at MHIS)

*All training dates are required for the Facilitator’s Development Institute*

**Parking is located at 155 Morgan Street Garage which is directly beside the training site. Parking will be validated each day @ the training.

Lunch is provided

There is no cost to the applicant to attend the Institute. All training costs including fees, materials, and meals will be covered. Applicants for the FDC Facilitators Development Institute must have a BA/BS/BSW in social work, human service or a related social science or human service field. Candidates that do not possess the required degree must have oversight by a current FDC facilitator with a Master’s level (or greater).
