What elements should programs have to create the conditions for positive impacts on children, families, and communities? In 2005 we released our first version of Best Practice Guidelines to address this question. Now thirteen years later the evidence could not be clearer on the results that afterschool and summer programs have on reducing chronic absenteeism, developing social and emotional competence, and improving academic achievement.
In this session we will walk through our newly revised Quality Self-Assessment Tool and help put your program on the path to quality.
