When we initially hire staff we often hope for the best and know that for some, working in afterschool is a stepping stone to another career. How we engage with staff and provide opportunities for growth within our programs can help stem the tide of turnover in programs. Over the years the staff at EdAdvance has remained relatively stable because of proper placement and helping staff goal set. In this session we will cover what steps you need to take in your own programs to help staff strive for quality, find their place in your organization, and become leaders that help sustain quality and continuous improvement.
