Sisters in Science

What is Sisters in Science?

  • An afterschool program of the New Britain Youth Museum designed to foster interest in STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) education & careers.
  • Our goal is to eliminate the social, economic and cultural barriers that stand in the way of young female minds in their pursuit of STEM.
  • We offer earlier access to hands-on STEM education and social emotional development to maintain girls’ interests in the sciences.

Who can be a mentor?
