Ever heard of a hydra?  Somewhere in the back of my mind I remembered studying this in biology.  Hydra’s were always interesting because you could multiply them quite easily.  All that was soon forgotten but has been resurrected for me in a most curious manner.  The tiny hydra doesn’t seem to have a short lifespan as other creatures the same size and science has discovered why.  The why is very curious in its ramifications for future use.  Take a look at this very cute, easy to understand video (show your kids) to see what I mean.
