Empowering Resilient Leaders Learning Lab – where passion meets action!

This four-part series is designed to equip leaders with the skills, knowledge, and emotional resilience needed to navigate and recover from crises within their communities. 

  • Raise Awareness – Gain a deeper understanding of social injustices and inequalities.
  • Build Resilience – Strengthen emotional resilience and coping skills.
  • Take Action – Develop community-driven solutions that promote justice and equity.
  • Create Lasting Impact – Help shape a sustainable program that evolves with new challenges.

This is more than leadership—it’s about creating just, equitable, and lasting change. Are you ready to make a difference? Pre-registration is required. The event series costs $30, and participant attendance is required for the full series. Lunch will be provided.

Part 1 July 15, 2025 (10-2 pm) – Introduction

  • Increased awareness and understanding of social injustices and inequalities among participants
  • Improved emotional resilience and coping skills in both adults and youth

Part 2 July 16, 2025 (10-2 pm) – Implementation

  • Development of community action plans that address systemic issues through a lens of justice and equity.
  • Creation of a sustainable, adaptable program that can continue to evolve in response to new challenges and crises.

Part 3 October 15, 2025 (10-12 pm) – Implementation Support

  • Bringing participants and consultants back together to share their plans, network ideas with peers and get feedback. 

Part 4 December 3, 2025 (12-1:30 pm, Virtual) – Evaluation and Ongoing Support

  • Evaluation & On-going Support – Individual support as needed and project evaluation


TERMS OF REGISTRATION

Submission of your conference registration authorizes the Connecticut Network for Children and Youth to publish in any format and use for promotional and educational purposes your name and any photos, videos, and audio recordings taken of you at the conference.  It also authorizes the Connecticut Network for Children and Youth to contact you by mail, phone or email.  Please note the following Media Release.

Consent to Photograph, Film or Videotape Participants for Non-Profit use (e.g. educational, public service, or health awareness purposes)

As a conference participant, I acknowledge and grant permission to the Connecticut Network for Children and Youth to use my image (photographs and/or video) for use in Connecticut Network for Children and Youth publications including videos, email blasts, recruiting brochures, newsletters, and magazines and to use my image in electronic versions of the same publications or on the Connecticut Network for Children and Youth website or other electronic forms of media.

I hereby waive any right to inspect or approve the finished photographs or electronic matter that may be used in conjunction with them now or in the future, whether that use is known to me or unknown, and I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the image.
