NEW FUNDING: AccelerateCT Summer Expansion Grants

Governor Ned Lamont has announced the release of up to $11 million in new funding to support the expansion of summer learning programs in Connecticut, particularly for children who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.  The Connecticut After School Network is proud to partner with the Governor and the State Department of Education in helping camps and summer programs access this new funding provided by the American Rescue Plan.

Proposals are due May 10, 2021 at 5:00 pm

For the expansion grants, applicants can apply for grants of up to $25,000 per program site and may submit up to three separate applications for different sites. A maximum of one grant will be awarded per site/location, with a maximum of three per organization. Nonprofit summer camps, child care centers, community-based organizations, and municipal agencies are encouraged to apply. Proposals are due May 10, 2021 at 5:00 PM.
