By now you’ve heard about and perhaps even played the latest internet craze known as Pokémon Go! Although the app was just released in early July 2016, it has completely captured the attention of youth and adults alike, quickly becoming a global phenomenon.
While enthusiasts argue the game encourages kids to get outside and socialize due to its augmented reality feature, others fear the distraction it may create for students this upcoming school year. However, the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) has established a list of 14 ways educators can take advantage of the app to drive learning and promote excitement about their schools.
