After School programs are at risk of losing federal funds
Congress is considering legislation that threatens the only funding source dedicated to after school, the 21st Century Community Learning Centers initiative, with extinction. It’s crucial that a diverse and broad set of voices tell Congress to keep funding intact for the after school programs that are keeping 1.6 million kids safe, inspiring them to learn and helping working families.
The Connecticut After School Network will join 300+ after school supporters to meet with Members of Congress TODAY, March 10—help us by taking action from home.
