Calling program leaders and staff! The American Institutes for Research (AIR) is developing a readiness survey and reflection toolkit that will help afterschool, summer, and other out-of-school time (OST) program leaders and staff understand how ready they are for new initiatives or changes. AIR is currently piloting the survey with a focus on social and emotional learning and development. SEL programs and practices can take a variety of forms, from implementing SEL curriculum, to intentional practices that create safe and supportive environments that foster social and emotional skills, for example.
AIR wants to hear from all OST professionals who are supporting social and emotional learning and development now, or are planning to in the future. We are asking you to please share the information about this survey pilot with your networks via newsletters, email updates, and other direct communication outlets that you have. Please do NOT share this on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or other social media (this makes the survey susceptible to Internet bots).
The survey pilot is now open online: https://survey.alchemer.com/
The survey should take 10-20 minutes to complete and all pilot participants who complete the survey will receive a $10 gift card via email.
