The School to Prison Pipeline Conference is a day for students, teachers, administrators, activists, and law enforcement officials to come together and discuss the harsh policies and practices used by under-resourced schools that funnel students into the criminal justice system for minor violations of school rules. This forum will raise the consciousness of educators and citizens alike regarding zero-tolerance policies, disproportionate minority contact, and the American prison-industrial complex.
