Afterschool Programs Focus on the Whole Child

Academic measures of progress are but one measure of student success. Research has shown the social and emotional impacts afterschool programs play in the healthy development children. One of the issues we encounter in the field of afterschool is the fragmentation of programming that is either dedicated to one or the other, and not emphasizing a strategy that integrates the whole child.
