Virtual Summer Training – Week 4

Week 4 (June 21 – June 25): Connecting with Families and the Community

Welcome to our fourth and final week of the 50 State After School Network Re-Boot Camp! This is our final installment of workshops. Thank you to everyone who has participated. We hope that you learned new skills, had meaningful conversations and most importantly had fun! We cannot wait to share our final lineup of free workshops with all of you!

For our last week we will be exploring connecting with families and the community. Families and communities are the foundation of afterschool and summer programming. Learning how to reconnect after this challenging year can help your program significantly. Some of the topics we will be discussing are: using program data, how to build positive relationships with families and how to align systems of support. Most of the workshops this week are program and staff essentials. This last week workshops will be led by our colleagues in Connecticut and Utah.

The SAN (Statewide Afterschool Network) Re-Boot Camp was developed in partnership with the Connecticut After School Network, Utah Afterschool Network, Maine Afterschool Network, Missouri AfterSchool Network, ACT Now! (Illinois Mott Network), Oregon ASK (Oregon Mott Network) in collaboration with the 50 State Afterschool Network.  This free program consists of a four week intensive summer virtual training series. Like many of the virtual conferences that the 50 Statewide Afterschool Networks have hosted in the past, these training sessions will help prepare programs to meet their full potential to serve the children and families in communities this summer.

We hope that you are all enjoying these incredible free workshops and have already curated ideas to make your afterschool and summer programs even more impactful. Afterschool is back in session!

To register visit 50 State After School Network Re-Boot Camp website and you will receive a confirmation email to get you started on your week of choice.
