Wallace Foundation Funding Opportunity

The Wallace Foundation has announced a one-year grant opportunity for groups of organizations that are working together to promote adolescent youth development.

Expressions of interest from eligible partnerships are due at 5 p.m., Friday, November 4th.

Adolescence is a time of rapid development for young people marked by growing independence, identity exploration, bonding with peers and preparation for further education and careers. While this time can be exciting,

it can also be challenging, especially for young people who are facing systemic challenges, such as poverty, homelessness, disability or other issues.

At the same time, Wallace knows organizations are creating innovative partnerships focused on engaging young people who are dealing with these challenges, and many are doing so by providing experiences outside of the traditional classroom.

For more information on eligibility and how to submit a letter of interest, please visit Wallace’s online hub. Following the review of the expressions of interest forms and pending approval from the Wallace Board, Wallace will invite a limited number of partnerships to submit full proposals in mid-January 2023. Wallace is planning to choose 20 to 30 partnerships as grantees and award grants averaging $200,000 to each partnership by the end of February 2023.
