Leadership

With the daily buzz and duties of our programs supervisors often fail to think about their own leadership development, or more frequently do not see themselves as educational leaders. We often concentrate on our own programs and seldom have time or the ability to reach out and network with others doing similar jobs in other places. In this fourth and final Supervision 101 session, we will cover ways to strengthen individual connections to leadership including mentoring staff and being mentored as a leader, explore opportunities for interagency partnerships, identify community networks and possible local collaborators, and develop a strategic leadership plan to move your program to the next level.
