Check out our upcoming fall opportunities below to join us as we work on exploring more Science Technology Education and Mathematics professional development for OST educators throughout the upcoming school year.
OST Educators
Are you an OST educator that would like to learn more about building and leading impactful, meaningful STEM opportunities? Are you interested in learning more about how to ensure your STEM lessons are truly quality and supporting the academic needs of your program participants as well? Want to create sustainable STEM programming? Want to build connections with STEM learning communities? Want a chance to connect with peers also interested in and working to integrate more STEM into their programs?
Then the STEM CLASP (Coaching and Learning After School Professionals) program may be the right opportunity for you! Starting in October, we’ll have 7 full day meetings throughout the school year. Join our cohort of OST professionals working to enhance their comfort, knowledge and access to STEM learning. If you think you might be interested please type your contact information into this google form to be sent the application as soon as it is released.
Educational Facilities & Leadership
Are you or are you connected to a STEM education facility, organization or program (museum, nature centers, university, corporate community outreach etc)? Do you teach STEM related subjects for young people or professional development for adults? We are looking for educational partners who are willing to support the development of STEM learning opportunities as part of our STEM CLASP learning cohort. We would love to connect with you. Email us here with the subject “STEM CLASP Support Ideas” if you are interested in working with us to support this professional development learning opportunity ideas (we’re thinking: site visits, curriculum discussions, fun opportunities, ways to prep a field trip for maximum impact, etc.) or if you have any questions.
